about

The first volume of the two-volume A Compendious Tango, the daylight counterpart to Netherworld, finally remastered, updated, and released! A collection of tunes recorded mostly during the Guelph years in between twilights, other albums, and under couches. The exception is the title track, which has been specially re-recorded in 2019 with drumming by Jody Brumell.

Extra super thanks to special guests: Jody Brumell - drums ('Day of the Object, part 1'); Gord - vocals and guitars (Gord sings 'The Test'); Geoff Martel - sax and keys, and Mark Aspinall - sax (both are on 'Truffle Snout'). Alan Walks plays guitars, keys, analog synths, basses, trumpets, trombones, percussion (including drums on 'Decant' and 'Truffle Snout').

Total Time, including bonus tracks = 65:16

Purchases of the entire album will also include the following bonus tracks:
MOU
Slow
Not In It
Across the Land and Oceans, part 1
The Day Between
